substitutes for canned stuff

hey friends .)
does anyone of you have any idea wht i can use for subsittutes for e.g. cream of *** soup?
here in Norway we don't have such hting, so help would be apreciated.

use the real veggie, for example, mushrooms and then make a cream sauce using butter or milk and something like flour or cornstarch to thicken it with.

Dried stuff can work with general cans goods, but James is right, use the green vegetable itself.
